The Mayor Visits Westhoughton High School

Written by Cllr Neil Maher, Mayor of Westhoughton - “I attended the inauguration of this years student council and presented badges to those selected to the council. I spent the morning at the school and was impressed with numbers of students who wanted to get involved, the enthusiasm they exhibited on the workshop task they were presented with, and the quality of the outputs the students produced. Themes for this academic year: Youth Club activities; Senior Solutions; charitable giving and Let's share Christmas.”
