Christmas At Westhoughton
On Saturday 30th November, Westhoughton Town Council put on a Christmas Event for the Town to enjoy. Father Christmas was at the library in his Grotto, local community stalls were in the upper library telling people about the work they do in the community, we had Bethel Crowd and Wingates Band in the Carnegie Hall doing performances, a Mystery Word competition which meant participants had to go into local businesses to find letters to make a phrase. Mill Street had fair rides and a food truck provided by Mr Silcock. Lots of businesses got into the spirit with special offers and decorating shop windows.
Our thanks to the Bolton & District Photography Group for the photo’s they have provided of the day, there are still some more to come of children visiting Father Christmas.
