It’s nearly time for Snowdon!

The Mayor of Westhoughton is still practicing for his walk up Yr Wyddfa, or Mount Snowdon to you and me! Having recovered from a major heart operation nearly one year ago, Councillor Neil Maher has been training hard for his ascent at the end of March.

One of the reasons for doing this is to raise money for the charities which he is supporting as Mayor this year: Senior Solutions, Westhoughton Assist Service and The Darren Deady Foundation. So far, with other charity events, he has raised £2000! With this climb, he hopes to raise over £1000 to add to this total. COULD YOU HELP? (Many thanks to those who have already donated!)

If you would like to contribute, please go to Crowdfunding to support local Charities including The Darren Deady Foundation, Westhoughton Assist Service and Senior Solutions. on JustGiving. Alternatively, please contact the Town Clerk to arrange to give a cash donation. (07921862603 townclerk@westhoughtontc.gov.uk)
