How much funding do you require from the Town Council?

The Town Council does not guarantee to fund the full amount. A total funding pot of £20,000 is earmarked for youth and play provision in the 2023/24 financial year, although the Town Council may consider awarding grants to multiple organisations with these funds.

Last two years audited Annual Accounts plus the latest bank statement. New groups should submit the latest bank statement / bank book showing all receipts and payments

Terms and conditions

The Town Council will be unable to proceed with the grant application until all of the above information has been supplied.

The amount of any previous town council grants awarded, the length of time between applications and the group's fundraising activities will be taken into account when the grant application is being considered.

Groups must comply fully with the terms of a grant awarded and any breach will jeopardise future applications.

Grant applications will be considered at the next appropriate Town Council meeting.

Successful grant applications must credit the Town Council's support in any publicity and marketing materials.
