Westhoughton Town Councillors and residents enjoyed a sunny morning on Friday 29th September 2023 at Diddy Bottle Park.

100 poppies will be displayed on Westhoughton’s town centre streets to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.

Westhoughton town councillors are eying up town centre locations for new CCTV cameras with the help of local police officers.

Westhoughton is going to blossom thanks to a new “Big Plant” scheme designed to improve the look of the area and to create more habitats for wildlife.

Westhoughton Town Council has allocated a grant of £6,600 to bolster summer youth activities in the town.
