Armed Forces Breakfast Club - Bolton

Written by Councillor Neil Maher, Mayor of Westhoughton. “On Saturday, we attended the Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club at Haywood Young People's Centre, BL3 6SN. The club has been setup and led by Simon Skirving ex Coldstream Guards. The club provides the opportunity to meet with other Armed forces Veterans and serving personal, have a brew, eat and have a chat. On occasions special guests are invited. This Saturday, along with myself, the Lord-Lieutenant and Mayor of Greater Manchester attended. 

Talking to people, it was clear how valuable the club was to those attending and the positive impact it is having.

So, if you are a Westhoughton veteran or member/retired blue light services, you would be very welcomed. The club runs every Saturday between 10am-2pm.”
