Grant for new Flag Pole

Mayor of Westhoughton, Cllr Neil Maher, presented a cheque for £500 to St Bartholomew’s Church to pay the costs of replacing the flag pole that was damaged in recent bad winds. Ryan Battersby accepted the cheque on behalf on the Church. The Flagpole has now been installed and is flying the flag once more.
