A Wonderful Concert!

On Saturday 29th June at St Bartholomew’s Church in the evening, there was a most enjoyable concert given by the Choir of Westhoughton and the Affetside Choir led by Lauren Mulholland.

Our Deputy Mayor, Councillor Gillian Wroe, attended - in the choir! It was a delightful evening that raised £617 that will be equally shared between the Bolton and Bury Hospices. In addition, concert goers were encouraged to bring groceries, which were donated to Westhoughton Assist Foodbank.

A big thank you to the Choirs and all who attended for their generosity!

(If you think you would like to ‘sing for fun’, do go along to the Choir of Westhoughton which meets at The Hub on Central Drive on a Wednesday evening between 7pm - 8.30pm.)
